Good news: backyard farming just got a whole lot simpler.
Meet the Nourishmat, a new gardening option that helps Americans live a healthier lifestyle on a low budget. Earth Starter created Nourishmat with the focus of “cultivating gardeners, not gardens,” and teaching the average American how to produce their own food.
Lack of knowledge, time constraints, space constraints, and general laziness are all reasons listed as to why we have not been taking responsibility for sustainable (and healthy) food options. Nourishmat is a good way to adapt to these constraints and make the best of them. Space and time limits tend to be a huge reason why we avoid growing our own food. So how can we change this?
Well, Nourishmat makes it really easy. It is essentially an all-in-one, roll-out garden starts up an entire garden in just a 4′ x 6′ space. Sound to good to be true? Well, it’s not! Not only is this method of gardening very simple, but it also reduces CO2 emission, and conserves water with a special irrigation system. The whole thing can be set up in around 10 minutes, too, with extremely minimal physical effort on your part.
