NBC Chicago-Account Executive
This weeks Member Monday features Daniel Diaz, a member of our Associate Board. We asked Daniel some questions about Chicago Gateway Green and himself, lets see what he said!
CGG: Why did you decide to get involved with Gateway Green?
DD: Gateway Green is unlike other organizations in that our efforts and goodwill can be seen every day, all around the city. Knowing I’d be working with a dedicated and ambitious group of my peers to make a tangible, visible difference in Chicago is what drove me to get involved, and I’m very happy I did.
CGG: What is your favorite thing about Chicago?
DD: The energy and excitement! I’ve been around the world and I’m still hard-pressed to find a city as fun and diverse as Chicago. We have first-class dining, sports, culture, recreation, fine arts, commerce, music, history and so much more all in the same city. That being said, there is always something to do and a new adventure to be discovered.
CGG: Tell us a random fun/funny fact about yourself.
DD: I’m quite afraid of spiders… which at my age is more sad than funny.
CCG: What is your favorite movie, book, or band?
DD: My favorite book is The Rum Diary by Hunter S. Thomspon and my favorite movie is The Sandlot.
