CGG: How did you get started with Chicago Gateway Green?
I attended my first Green Tie Ball in 2015 after winning an office raffle for tickets. I have been attending and volunteering at Chicago Gateway Green Events ever since!
CGG: What’s your favorite part about Chicago?
The people of Chicago are hands down my favorite part about this city. I’ve made so many friends and connections throughout the years here and it’s always fun running into a familiar face either at an event or just on the street!
CGG: If you could have 1 superpower, what would it be and why?
If I could have one superpower, it would be the ability to time travel. It would be amazing to go back in time and witness firsthand what I am only able to see photos of or read about.
CGG: What’s your favorite thing to cook? Don’t cook? What’s your favorite thing to eat?
I’m not one for cooking, which is probably why working at the National Restaurant Association is such a great fit! I’m lucky to live in the Southport Corridor neighborhood where there are some of the best new restaurants in the city. Ella Elli is my favorite!
CGG: If your life had a theme song what would it be?
Go Your Own Way – Fleetwood Mac
CGG: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I hope to have an even more active role in making this city even more beautiful, while checking things off of my bucket list of course!
