Chicago Gateway Green: Why did you decide to get involved with Gateway Green?
TS: My father was the co-chair of Green Tie Ball Event and as soon as I walked in, I realized the reach and values of CGG. After attending an Associate Board meeting at Harry Carey’s, I realized that CGG is not just about great events. This mission is to beautify our incredible city and impact the lives of its residents. Can you imagine what 1,000,000 pounds of litter looks like!?
CGG: What is your favorite thing about Chicago?
TS: I am proud to call Chicago home, We all get the chance to live in a world class city with a small town feel. The people are warm and welcoming, the food is some of the best in the world, and Chicagoans are die-hard fans. Even if our teams aren’t playing so hot.
CGG: Tell us a random fun fact about yourself.
TS: I make sure to look out of my bedroom at least once a day to admire the Sears Tower. The buildings in this city have fascinated me from a young age, and I promised myself early on that I would never lose that child-like excitement.
CGG: What is your favorite movie, book, or band?
TS: I am a huge fan of old sales-related literature. I am huge Brian Tracy fan and I try to practice his principles each day at work. That that frog!
