- 1846 West Division in Chicago
Prasino is an ecofriendly restaurant that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. The name is a Greek word for Green, which represents exactly what they stand for. Always striving for seasonal, local, and organic food along with its eco-chic design, it reflects their respect for a sustainable environment. They serve hormone-free and antibiotic-free meats, sustainable seafood, and organic produce and eggs. With everything they do, they always keep the environment in mind and find ways to leave a small footprint.
- 161 N. Jefferson St. in Chicago
This restaurant incorporates green building materials and equipment into their design and layout. They have several different recycled materials, including the chocolate brown leather chairs in the banquet room. Province was awarded the Golf Level LEED certification and was rated 3 stars from the Green Restaurant Association. They continue to support their commitment to operating a green restaurant daily. By purchasing foods from local farmers and ranchers and using sustainable seafood, Province has done a great job with keeping the green idea in mind and incorporating it throughout their restaurant.
Attending restaurants and shops that contribute to the environment in a positive way also makes you a contributing member of the green movement. CGG would like to thank everyone who is impacting the environment positively, and would like to remind everyone how easy it is to get involved!
