On April 20th, we’re celebrating Earth Day by joining The Nature Conservancy, Blind Pilot, the Hearty Boys, Charlie McKenna (of Lillie’s Q fame), Melissa Graham of Purple Asparagus, and Park Grill for a picnic – and we want you to join us. Come check out the sustainable food, a live performance by Blind Pilot and play “green” games at Millennium Park.
Before Blind Pilot jammed at Lollapolooza, the Oregon based group worked as organic farm hands. Now they’re joining us to celebrate Earth Day and raise awareness for their biggest environmental concerns: sustainable agriculture and clean water. For a sneak peak of the performance, check out the video below.
Blind Pilot isn’t the only group focused on sustainability, the Food Network‘s Hearty Boys will be providing sustainable cooking demonstrations during the picnic and lending their expertise on how to throw an incredible event while staying green. The Hearty Boys will be joined by Charlie McKenna who will share his insights into how he stays sustainable while creating his award-winning BBQ.
We are so excited for this year’s picnic. There are a limited number of tickets, so be sure to grab yours today!
